Autumn in Paris

Last week I have spend 5 beautiful days in Paris. The weather was great, the light superb!

I enjoyed every minute and couldn't stop taking photos. I saw so much things that where worth capturing: lovely details, inspirational people, the beautiful red tones mother nature is giving us, great art nouveau architecture...and more....I am hoping to use my photos for a new project (a mix of fashion illustration & lifestyle photography) I am currently working on.

Autumn light

When I woke up this morning I saw this stunning light coming into my bedroom.

I brought my camera (and Disney) to the park to capture some beautiful autumn details.

At this time of the year light transforms ordinary things into little golden treasures.

It's to practice my styling, story telling, light and focus techniques.

Jersey, Guernsey and Sark

Last week I spend 8 days on Jersey, Guernsey and Sark to shoot a range of photos for the book I am making. I have made a few collages to share, I love this summer afternoon feeling especially when it is raining like today...

My next big photoshoot for the book will be in october: 'Autumn in Paris.' Untill then I am shooting some small themes like (self)portraits, clothes, shoes and more.

Kaartje2go Part 2

Time is running so fast and I hadn't got the time to post any of the projects I am working on.

There is a lot to show and tell: I am working on some illustrations for several educational books, a new schooldiary 11-12, bed linen, a photography book and more! Hope I can share some pics soon, but for now here are some cards I have designed for kaartje2go.nl. I have so many plans for new designs, I expect to add the new ones within the next couple of weeks.

Even een kort berichtje voor iedereen die nog op zoek is naar een exemplaar van

het boek Beauty, body & brains van Tiny Fisscher en mij. Er komt een herdruk, maar alleen als het boek vooraf bij de boekhandel of via internet besteld wordt. Dus wil je zelf (of een vriendin)nog een BBB, ga dan snel naar de boekhandel en plaats een bestelling, dan is het boek er waarschijnlijk een stuk sneller!
